Formigal, Spain

Formigal is located near Sallent de Gállego in the Tena Valley. The resort is considered one of the largest in Europe. Its highest point reaches 2,250 meters. In winter, the average temperature ranges from +4°C to +10°C.

The total length of the trails is about 140 kilometers. There are routes of different difficulty levels: green, blue, red and black. There are also separate areas for snowmobiles, cross-country skiing, sledding, and snowboarding.

Special cannons ensure that the slopes are always covered with snow.

Tourists can go ice karting, try their hand at dog sledding and build an igloo. A 1-bedroom apartment will cost approximately €369 for 3 nights. A double room costs about €450.

A day ski-pass for adults will cost €59, for youth - €47.

Valgrande Pajares, Spain

Located in the Cantabrian Mountains at an altitude of 1,890 meters above sea level.

There are 7 ski lifts here. The total length of the ski slopes reaches 25 kilometers. Travelers can go skiing or snowboarding.

There is a special area for sledding and a kindergarten for kids.

There are several restaurants on site: Telesilla Cafeteria in the lower part of the complex and Cuitu Negru Cafeteria on the upper level of the station. Alto Campoo, Spain

It is located in the Cantabria province at an altitude of over 2,000 meters above sea level.

Sestriere, Italy

Located in the Piedmont region at an altitude of 2,035 meters. In winter, the average temperature ranges from -8°C to -1°C.

There are three ski areas: Monte Banchetta (2,555), Monte Sises (2,600) and Monte Fraiteve (2,701). You can go down the slopes even at night. The total length of the trails reaches 249 kilometers. Tourists can go sledding, ice skating, hiking and snowmobiling.

A daytime ski-pass will cost approximately €54, for children - €15.

A double room will cost about €363, an apartment - €483.

Bardonecchia, Italy

Located in the Piedmont region at an altitude of 1.300 meters above sea level. The resort is considered one of the first in the country.

The total length of the slopes is 140 kilometers and is divided into 3 zones. There are also artificial snowmaking systems.

Travelers can go skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and snowshoeing.

There are also gyms where you can play football, volleyball or tennis.

A day ski-pass will cost about €46, for children - €14.

An apartment will cost €413, a studio - €562.
