British expert names one thing Usyk longs to do before ending his career
Unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) still hopes to have the last fight of his career in Kyiv. However, this is not possible today due to Russia's military aggression against our country, so the boxer is preparing for a fight against the winner of the confrontation between Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) and Joseph Parker (35-3, 23 KOs).
This was stated by Adam Smith, an expert at Sky Sports TV channel, in an interview with the Pro Boxing Fans YouTube channel. According to the journalist, Usyk showed incredible results not only in the professional ring but also during his brilliant amateur career.
"He wants to fight in Kyiv. Ukraine is where he wants to go. But obviously it's extremely difficult with what's happening on there, you know. Oleksandr is an incredible guy, the standout fighter of this generation, I believe, the pound-for-pound best. What he has achieved in boxing... I mean not only a phenomenal amateur who won everything, but he won everything as a pro at cruiseweight, going up to heavyweight, beating everybody. There's really nothing left to prove," Smith said.
