Bright salad "Sun" with fillet, Chinese cabbage and bread straws: a recipe for the New Year 2025

If you want to surprise your family for the New Year, be sure to prepare bright and original salads from simple ingredients. But at the same time, try to add bright new ingredients to classic salads that will give the dishes an original taste and bright appearance.

The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious and original salad called "Sun" made from chicken, Chinese cabbage and cheese.

Ingredients:

• smoked chicken thigh - 1 pc.
• canned corn - 1 b.
• Chinese cabbage - 300 g
• eggs - 3 pcs
• carrots - 2 pcs
• hard cheese - 150 g
• mayonnaise - 100 g (to taste)
• bread straws - 150g
• salt - to taste
• dill
• pomegranate seeds, red caviar, green onions

Method of preparation:

1. Grate the hard cheese on a fine grater and the cooked carrots on a coarse grater. Cut the chicken thigh into small cubes. Combine in a bowl, add the corn, draining the juice beforehand.

2. Drizzle with mayonnaise, salt and pepper and mix.

3. Assemble the salad in layers: Chinese cabbage, chicken with corn and mayonnaise, grated hard cheese. Brush the outside of the salad with mayonnaise and use the bread straws to make a "fence" above the last layer of salad.

Garnish the salad with red caviar and herbs as you wish!
