Bosnian champion explains why "the world is in Russia's way" and becomes a laughingstock

The former midfielder of Tom Toma, Moscow and Dynamo Bryansk gave a frank interview

Two-time Bosnia and Herzegovina football champion (2003, 2011) Branislav Krunic said that Russian footballers should not suffer because of the actions of the state and politicians. According to the 44-year-old former Tom Toma, Moskva and Dynamo Bryansk player, "Russia has a soul, history and culture."

"That is why this country has conflicts with the West: the Russian people have a real vision of life. Of course, it is Christian, Orthodox, like mine, so it is even closer to me. The world interferes with Russia because their souls are spoiled, you know? They do not have the quality of life that they should have," RB quoted Krunic as saying.

In addition, the Bosnian was outraged by the actions of the European Union of Football Associations (UEFA).

"No one knows why Russia was removed and when it will be returned. This is UEFA's policy, only they know. It's hard for me to say. In general, it is strange that such a decision was made, it is very wrong," Krunic said.

These words of the famous footballer caused a storm of outrage from Russian fans.

"They should have point toilets, eggs for 200 rubles, pensions of 150 dollars and airplanes that crash every week - then they will catch up with Russia in terms of living standards and finally stop envying it," the fans mock.

Users sarcastically point out that it was because of the "spoiled West" that Russia attacked Ukraine.

Commentators note that this propaganda has been going on for years.

A flurry of emotions among Russian fans was caused by Krunic's words about UEFA.
