BMW may launch one of its most beautiful concept cars into production
It seems that the German automaker BMW is seriously considering launching one of the most beautiful concept cars created by its engineers in a limited series. The company's marketing department has already begun to study the demand for the model.
According to Car Expert magazine, it is a two-seater coupe with a convertible top Skytop. Potential buyers have already received emails with information about the car and a survey asking if they are interested in placing an order for it.
Earlier, the head of BMW Group Design, Adrian van Heudonk, announced in his social media accounts the company's intention to assemble several of these cars for sale. Later, he confirmed this intention to journalists and said that it was about 20-25 Skytop copies. However, according to recent reports, up to 50 units may be produced.
The Skytop may be produced in a limited edition of up to 50 units.

The cost of such a car is preliminarily estimated at 500,000 euros. This is significantly more expensive than the BMW M8 coupe, on which the new model is based. Moreover, such a price will make the model one of the most expensive in the history of the German automaker.
The Skytop concept was unveiled in May this year. It immediately caused a stir in the BMW community and car fans in general. They praised the car's luxurious design, its smooth lines, and the absence of the signature front grille.
Unlike the M8, which can accommodate at least five people, the Skytop is a two-seater that boasts a Targa folding roof and a retractable rear window.
Under the hood of the concept is a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 460 kW of power and 750 Nm of torque. The movement is transmitted to all wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
