If there's one thing to love about winter, it's the snow and winter sports, which bring out so many emotions. However, you may not be able to go skiing this year, in which case a movie will save you.

Movies about skiing remind us of what it's like to speed down the mountain, overcoming the frosty air. OBOZ.UA tells you which movies can help you get the right emotions.

All his life he was obsessed with sports and dreamed of making it to the Olympics. However, no matter what he tried, he failed. One day Eddie decides to conquer ski jumping at any cost. And he fails after failing – his physical condition does not allow him to win prizes at competitions. One day, however, Eddie's unquenchable will to win is noticed by a rebel coach, Bronson Pirie. They decide to help each other and set out for Olympic Calgary. The film is directed by the brilliant Dexter Fletcher and stars Taron Edgerton and Hugh Jackman.

6 Below

The hero's journey home will take a long 8 days, and he will have to pay a heavy price for survival.

Aspen Extreme

Let it Snow

The first leading role for Ukrainian actress Ivanna Sakhno. She plays an American woman named Mia, who travels to Georgia with her boyfriend Max to go snowboarding. Nevertheless, the couple sets out to fulfill their dream. At first, Mia and Max lose each other, and then it turns out that they are being chased by a stranger whose goals are hardly good.

Dumb and Dumber

Yes, one of the most remarkable American comedies of the 1990s is also directly related to skiing. Two friends not endowed with high intelligence – dog carrier Gary and limousine driver Lloyd - find themselves in snowy Aspen trying to return a mysterious suitcase to a passenger with whom the latter has fallen in love. They don't even realize what they've gotten themselves into, and that they are now being chased by criminals and the FBI. And only their blissful simplicity and ability to come up with the most unexpected ways out of situations can save them from real problems.
