We often want to spend our winter vacation in warm countries. And in fact, you can get sandy beaches like in the Maldives, great weather, and a luxurious crystal clear sea for a very reasonable amount of money.

According to the Express, the Egyptian resort city of Hurghada offers all this. In February, the air temperature here can reach a pleasant 25 °C, and nine hours of sunshine a day will give you a break from the gloom of the European winter.

Although the evenings in Hurghada can be chilly in winter, this season is still a great time to vacation here. You'll avoid the heat of the summer months, and the temperatures will be perfect for exploring all that Hurghada has to offer.

Beach lovers should definitely visit Giftun Island, one of the hidden gems of the Red Sea. To get there, you'll need to take an hour-long boat ride from Hurghada. The island's shallow waters are ideal for snorkeling.

For those interested in the famous historical sites of Egypt, a day trip to Luxor can be arranged. There are also regular flights to Cairo from the city. In addition, you can visit Mini Egypt Park, a unique model park that displays miniature versions of Egypt's iconic landmarks, including the pyramids.

In addition, the Grand Aquarium of Hurghada, one of the largest in Africa, offers a glimpse into the marine life of the Red Sea. It is home to such rare species as tiger sharks and eagle rays.
