Audi refuses to use a known cheap part: that's what customers wanted
Audi has unveiled the new generation of the stylish A5 model, which has actually now replaced the A4. Along with this, the company abandoned the use of a well-known cheap part, which almost no one liked.
In this way, the manufacturer responded to customer feedback. The details have become known to Carscoops. The new Audi A5 2025 model year is built on a fresh PPC (Premium Platform Combustion) platform designed for cars with internal combustion engines.
The company noted that all models within this architecture will be equipped with real exhaust system spigots that will be visible from the rear. The thing is that recently the German carmaker offered cheap plastic imitation of tailpipes on its cars - this element was part of the rear bumper.
It did not look good - especially when examined in detail. It is interesting that such practice affected even powerful modifications with the index S. At the same time, they tried to hide the real spigots under the bumper.
Almost no one liked this imitation - for several years, buyers have complained and expressed incomprehension. Models Audi A5 and Audi S5 are already equipped with real spigots, which are clearly visible in the bumper, look great and perform a direct function.
