Alfie will return and Gabrielle is in doubt: what awaits in the fifth season of "Emily in Paris"
"Emily in Paris" is an American comedy-drama series created by Darren Star for Netflix. The story of Emily Cooper, a young American woman who moves to Paris to work in a marketing agency, immediately became popular among viewers.
According to Deadline, Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) will return to the screens in the fifth season. It is known that filming of the sequel to Emily in Paris has already begun.
Alfie, played by Lucien Laviscount, is one of the key characters in the series. He first appeared in the second season. Alfie is a British man working in London who comes to Paris on business. He meets Emily at a French language course, and they begin a romantic relationship.
Alfie appears in Emily's life at a time when she is trying to deal with her feelings for Gabriel. Their relationship helps Emily to better understand herself and her desires.
In the third season, Alfie and Emily broke up, but in the fourth season, the Briton returns to resume their relationship. It is not yet known how his role will develop in future seasons, but it is safe to say that he will remain an important part of Emily's life.
Until the last season finale, Alfie encouraged Gabriel to fight for Emily, as she seemed ready to choose life in Rome with her new lover Marcello.
However, it is being reported online that questions have been raised about Gabriel's (Lucas Bravo) return after the actor publicly admitted that he was not sure if he wanted to continue in the role.
Currently, the new season of "Emily in Paris," created by MTV Entertainment Studios, is in active production. Production is scheduled to start in April.
By the way, the romantic comedy This Time Next Year, based on the bestseller by Sophie Cousins, will soon be released, starring Lucien Laviscount. The actor will also be seen in another movie based on the popular rom-com People We Meet on Vacation.
