A woman accidentally spoiled her son's proposal video in Italy: the video went viral

A girl named Jennifer shared a video that was shot during a trip to Rome, Italy. It shows her boyfriend getting down on one knee to propose, but suddenly everything goes wrong.
The video went viral on TikTok, the Daily Mail reports. The camera first captures a couple of young people in the middle of St. Peter's Square in the Vatican, and then pans back to the cameraman, the boy's mother, who is supposed to capture the romantic moment.
The video was supposed to start with a popular trend where couples show off their outfits. However, Jennifer's boyfriend suddenly went down on his left knee and took out a box with a sparkling ring. At this romantic moment, the camera pans to the front, showing Jennifer's mother-in-law's face (scroll to the bottom of the page to see it).
The woman smiles, and then realizes what she has done. Her eyes get big and she takes a huge gulp of air before the video cuts off. It is obvious that the mother did not intend to switch the camera and spoil the special moment for her son and future daughter-in-law.
"When your boyfriend gives his phone to his mom to film the proposal..." Jennifer wrote. The video has already garnered more than 2.5 million views.
Fortunately, this was not the only camera pointed at the couple in love. The guy's father managed to film the marriage proposal. The video showed how surprised the girl was by the surprise. Jennifer nodded her head in the affirmative, after which the future bride and groom hugged each other.
Although users laughed at such a cute moment, many of them supported the boy's mother:
"This is too funny. Congratulations! And tell your mom everything is fine."
"Poor mom!!! I wouldn't want this level of responsibility either. But you will both always remember this moment."
"Oh, it's not her fault. My mom always accidentally flips her phone over during video chats."
"Oh, no, she looked like she was going to cry... tell her it's okay."
