A Ukrainian cameraman worked on the new season of The Bridgertons: two episodes have been shot
Diana Olifirova, a Ukrainian film, music video, and advertising cinematographer, has joined the crew of the popular Netflix historical series The Bridgertons and shot the last two episodes of the first part of season 3, which was released on the streaming platform on May 16. She already has more than 70 works in her archive, and Ukrainian viewers have previously watched her image throughout the entire series When the Heart Faints.
Fans learned about Olifirova's participation in the Bridgertons project from the Instagram page of American filmmaker Andrew Ahn, who worked with the cameraman on episodes 3 and 4 of the series.

"It was an honor to direct episodes 3 and 4 of The Bridgertons Season 3! I had the pleasure of working with so many incredible cast and crew members," wrote Ahn and added: "Thank you to our cinematographer Diana Olifirova for her spirit and talent.
The cinematographer was educated in Ukraine at the Karpenko-Kary National University of Theater, Film, and Television in Kyiv, and studied at the Kyiv School of Photography. Later, she moved to the UK, where she continued to study filmmaking at the National Film and Television School.

"I firmly believe that every story requires different styles and approaches, and I like to develop it together with the director and production designer, leaving room for improvisation and play, bringing good energy to the project and diving deep into it," Olifirova told about her credo on her personal website, where you can also find her work.
Olifirova has over 70 works to her credit.

What is the Bridgertons series about?
The plot of The Bridgertons is set in the nineteenth century, but the series has several interesting features. First of all, it can be considered an "ancient" modernity, because despite its royal charm of those times, the director tried to outline that era with modern moral standards and lack of discrimination. Secondly, while watching the movie, you can hear familiar motifs of songs by popular artists such as Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Maroon 5 and others with orchestral arrangements.
The TV series is based on the novel The Duke and I by Julia Quinn. It describes the life of the rich and influential Bridgerton family. Each season focuses on the love story of one of the eight siblings of the family, so fans are looking forward to eight seasons, three of which have already been released.
The second part of the third season will be available on Netflix on June 13.
