Russian tourist humiliated in Turkey

Russian tourists continue to be unceremoniously harassed in Turkey. One of the travelers who flew to Istanbul from the Russian Federation heard from a taxi driver what the foreigner thought of Russians, and in the end he paid twice as much as he should have.

The conscious driver ripped off the Russian and even threatened him with the police if he refused to pay for the service. The shocked traveler silently paid the overcharged amount and ran to complain to his fellow citizens at a tourist forum.

The Russian decided to take a taxi, expecting to pay no more than a thousand rubles, but on the way, the fare dramatically doubled when the reckless tourist gave out his place of birth.

The taxi driver was not at a loss and forced the passenger to listen to the whole way that the people of Russia are "terrible inhumans." The outraged but silent Russian did not dare to raise his voice until the end of the trip.

"When he found out that I came from Russia, he abruptly changed his expression and began to preach about what terrible non-humans we are," the citizen of the country that organized the genocide was furious.

Finally, the driver decided to humiliate the Russian once again. The taxi driver billed him 600 Turkish liras (about 2.2 thousand rubles or 21,72 $), although the meter showed an amount of about 260 Turkish liras (about 940 rubles or 9,41 $).

When asked where the difference came from, the Turk replied that there was a different tariff for Russians, and in case of refusal to pay, he threatened to call the police.

Earlier, OBOZREVATEL wrote that a Russian tourist entertained Phuket airport employees with his antisocial behavior for 14 days. All the details are in our article.
