A Russian actor, who once compared himself to Putin, spotted in The White Lotus Season 3 trailer

Russian actor Yuri Kolokolnikov starred in the scandalous Max series The White Lotus. His was spotted in a trailer for season 3. It is interesting that earlier, the series had to cease cooperation with pro-Russian Serbian actor Miloš Biković due to complaints from Ukrainians about his political position.

And now another Russian actor can be seen in a new trailer for the third season of The White Lotus during several moments, namely at a party and in a swimming pool. It should be noted that he was not included in the list of actors on IMDb.

Russian media believe that he replaced the Serbian, but there is no information about this, as Bulgarian actor Julian Kostov was supposed to play this role.

"If you have been wondering where Ronin disappeared after the finale, know this: he went on a retreat to the The White Lotus! Check out Yuri Kolokolnikov in the third season of the most important series on the planet right now," said Russian director Max Shishkin.

By the way, Yuri Kolokolnikov considers himself a celebrity because of his involvement in several Hollywood projects, Game of Thrones in particular. Due to the role in an acclaimed series like this, he compared himself to the dictator Vladimir Putin, who is also known all over the world, but not in a positive light at all.

"The funny thing is that my contract said I had to keep quiet about it. I kept silent for six months. I had filmed a long time ago, I had already started a new creative chapter in life... And when the creators of Game of Thrones announced a new season featuring my face, there was such a splash. I did not expect such a scale! I remember there was a big conference with representatives of all the media, and I was like... Putin. All the journalists were so happy that I was there. You know, no envy at all, very sincere. And I, myself, don't know why, was madly happy to see them too, like a fool," he said in an interview with Russian media.

Some time ago, the HBO streaming company published a list of actors who would star in the new season of The White Lotus. Among them, viewers noticed a native of Serbia and a supporter of the Russian world Miloš Biković, and because of this, they announced that they would boycott the series.

Subsequently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine also reacted to the participation of a pro-Russian actor in the series, but received no response from HBO. Later, the company announced that it had hired Bulgarian Kostov to replace Biković.
