A new love story: the fourth season of "Bridgerton" was shown in photos and videos

The hit Netflix series, the costume romantic drama "Bridgerton," is set to return to the platform with its fourth season. Although the new episodes do not yet have a release date, the show's creators are already starting to stir up public interest with promotional materials.

The first teaser of the upcoming season was published on Netflix social media. "To celebrate the season of love, Netflix is taking you behind the scenes of season 4 of "Bridgerton" with Luke Thompson (Benedict Bridgerton) and Yerin Ha (Sophie Peck)," the video description reads.

It is known that the fourth installment of the series will focus on the ardent bachelor Benedict Bridgerton. However, fate will play a trick on him – at the masquerade, the hero will meet the love of his life. It is the footage from the filming of this ball that was used in the new video.

In addition, fans of "Bridgerton" were shown romantic footage of Benedict and Sophie's first night together. The couple has also already been given the common nickname Benofi, which hints at the very strong bond that will arise between these two characters.

The authors have prepared a separate surprise for fans of Penelope Bridgerton (Nicola Coughlan), who was the main character of the third season. Her relationship with Colin will continue to develop and the couple will have a child in the new episodes.

However, not all the show's fans were enthusiastic about the teaser. Ukrainian viewers were enraged by the appearance of one of the participants of the masquerade ball. It's all because of the Russian kokoshnik and sundress she's wearing. It is not yet known who this character is and what role she will play in the fourth season of "Bridgerton."
