According to the Express, summer weather persists even in December in the city of Galle on the island of Sri Lanka. The location not only promises a lot of sun, but also boasts a whole treasure trove of attractions for travelers.
The main attraction is undoubtedly the historic Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is complemented by serene tropical landscapes and a picturesque old town that also deserve a visit.

Long before the Portuguese set foot on its shores in the 16th century, Galle was known as Himhatitta. It claimed to be the main port of the island. After colonization by the Portuguese, spices were traded through it. And now it retains the glory of the most beautiful coastal city in Sri Lanka with numerous locations for walking and recreation.
