No location lacks the attention of tourists as much as exhibition halls. They are usually visited only when there is no choice. And worst of all, they are considered boring and uninteresting. But in fact, many boast unusual concepts. Let's learn about them today.
Victoria Museum (Museum of Costume and Style)
It is located in a historic Kyiv building dating back to the late nineteenth century. The museum is dedicated to urban European fashion of 1830-1920. There are 7 showrooms set up here according to international standards. Everything was taken into account: modern lighting, ventilation and air filtration technologies.
The museum houses authentic men's and women's outfits. There are more than 100 of them. There are also 800 exhibits from the pre-revolutionary period.
By the way, Victoria Lysenko is the founder of the historic estate. She buys exhibition items at auctions and flea markets in Europe.

Toilet History Museum
It is located in the historic Tower 5 building, which is part of the Kyiv Fortress complex of defensive structures. The attraction is among the top 10 most popular in Ukraine.
The museum is dedicated to the development of toilet culture from ancient times to the present. Here, tourists can see the world's largest exhibition of souvenir toilets. Other hygiene items are also kept here: bidets, washbasins, and jugs. During the tour, they explain how toothbrush, toilet paper, and soap came to be.
The exhibition hall often hosts various events, such as charity art fairs or video tours. Please note that Tuesday is a day off.

Museum of Hutsul Magic
Located in Ivano-Frankivsk region, the exposition hall is dedicated to the unique local traditions and skills of local sorcerers - molfars. It houses tools and attributes used to create healing potions and perform rituals. Visitors will also learn about the life and work of the famous medicine men Andrii Atamaniuk and Mykhailo Nechai.
The museum offers master classes on playing the drymba.
It is open daily from 11:00 to 16:00.

Museum of Pysanka (Easter Eggs)
It is located in the city of Kolomyia in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. It is considered the only one in the world with such a theme.
The exposition hall is a collection of Easter eggs of Kolomyia Museum of Hutsul Folk Art.
More than 12,000 painted and decorative exhibits from different regions of Ukraine and the world are stored in the building. In particular, there are painted eggs and driapanky decorated with embroidery, seeds, and semiprecious stones.
A special piece is a goose egg pysanka, painted with natural dyes.

Garbage Museum
It is located in Vinnytsia. During his 15 years as a storekeeper at a sorting plant, Viacheslav Voievodin collected discarded but valuable items. Thanks to his perseverance and keen eye, the museum now has a collection of more than 2,000 items.
Here, tourists can see medals, statuettes, jugs, lanterns, traditional cup holders, and more. The most valuable item is a German razor from 1695.

Lvivarnia Museum and Cultural Complex of Brewing History
The only cultural complex in Ukraine that covers the history of intoxicating drink. It was opened in 2005 on the occasion of the 290th anniversary of the Lvivarnia industrial enterprise.
It houses about 200 exhibits, the oldest of which is the original brewer's diploma from 1796. Travelers will also be able to create their own beer and taste a set.

Family Professions Museum
It is located in Ivano-Frankivsk. The museum was created by journalist Roman Fabryka in the yard of his own house.
It houses various attributes, tools, devices, mechanisms, etc. All of them are related to about 150 professions that have been owned by family members over the years.
