59-year-old Courteney Cox admitted what cosmetic procedure she regrets the most: it was a waste of time
World-famous actress Courteney Cox has admitted that she tried to delay her aging process with numerous procedures and plastic surgeries. According to the 59-year-old star of the cult TV series Friends, it's all about pressure in the film industry, where demand allegedly disappears with age.
As Cox admitted, she had planned to do only one "trick" to her face, but the "domino effect" worked, and after the first one she could not stop. However, there is a procedure that the actress regrets the most, reports the Daily Mail.
"There's so much pressure in this industry to stay young that once you start, it becomes a kind of domino effect and you keep doing more," commented the actress who played the role of Monica Geller.
She added: "The thing I regret the most is the fillers."
It is known that Courteney Cox has had facial contouring, lifts, injections, and blepharoplasty (eyelid reshaping for rejuvenation). As a result, her face became literally "stone," meaning it had no active facial expressions. In 2017, the actress had all the fillers removed from her face. Since then, she hasn't had any such procedures and accepts her natural age-related changes.
"It was a complete waste of time, and I'm sorry I gave in to the pressure to do it," the 59-year-old beauty said.
Cox now regularly shares photos and videos of herself without makeup on social media, inspiring older women to accept their changes and not try to stop them in unconventional ways.
