10 best cars in 2025: experts' choice
The well-known American magazine Consumer Reports has published a list of the 10 best cars of 2025 that combine high safety, economy, and environmental friendliness.
This year, seven of the ten models are either hybrids or electric, reflecting the general trend toward reducing emissions. All selected vehicles are equipped with a standard automatic emergency braking system. This increases safety not only when driving in the city but also on highways.
Consumer Reports has selected the 10 best cars based on its own testing, owner surveys, and crash test results. The ranking includes both models with traditional engines and the latest variants with hybrids and electric power plants. A special feature of this list is that all models have standard emergency braking, which is active at low and high speeds.
This year's ranking again includes popular models that were in the top positions last year. These include hybrids and electric cars, such as the Toyota RAV4 PHEV, Toyota Highlander Hybrid, and Tesla Model Y. These models demonstrate that environmental friendliness and efficiency do not contradict high levels of safety and comfort.
