Yummy bulgur with vegetables: cooked in a pan
Bulgur is a very hearty cereal that can be deliciously prepared for lunch or dinner. It is prepared in different ways: with vegetables, meat, chicken or mushrooms.
Food blogger Oksana Bilinskaya(oxana_bil) on her Instagram page shared a recipe for bulgur with vegetables, which you can easily make in one pan.
Ingredients:
- bulgur - 1 tbsp
- water - 2 tbsp
- Onion - 1 pc
- carrot - 1 pc
- spices: salt, pepper, paprika, cumin, turmeric
Method of cooking:
1. Grate the carrot, chop the onion. Roast the vegetables until soft.
2. To the soft vegetables bulgur and spices. Cook for a few more minutes.
3. Then you need to pour water over the groats, stir and cook under the lid until tender. If the water is boiling, but the porridge is not ready, you can add another 1/2 tbsp of water.
