How to clean the oven racks

Oven racks quickly accumulate grease, and removing baked-on grime can be a challenging task, often resisting even the efforts of expensive cleaning products.

However, a few life hacks can help you tackle this task with minimal effort and without resorting to harsh chemicals. Details were provided by Express.

A suggestion from the "Mrs. Hinch's Cleaning Tips" Facebook page advises using dishwasher tablets. These tablets contain concentrated detergent and can effectively break down stubborn grease on oven racks.

This cleaning tip was endorsed by Nancy Birtwistle, the winner of The Great British Baking Show.

To implement this method, you'll need one or two dishwasher tablets, two cups of baking soda, and some detergent.

Crush the tablets and dissolve them in warm water (not too hot). Add baking soda and detergent to create a cleaning solution. Submerge the oven racks in a large sink or bathtub, ensuring they are completely covered with the mixture. It's recommended to let the racks soak in the solution overnight for optimal results.
