The ideal mineral fertilizer is a mixture of potassium sulfate and superphosphate. You need to take one tablespoon of each ingredient.

Wood ash

Wood ash will enrich the soil during the digging process. You need to take 200 g of fertilizer per square meter. However, you can add the substance directly to the hole - some experts claim that this is even more effective.

Fertilizers from humus

Humus is a unique fertilizer. Such fertilization will enrich even the poorest soil and make it fertile and of high quality. The product should be applied at the time of digging: 500 g of fertilizer is added per square meter.

Crop rotation rules

You should also pay attention to crop rotation rules. It is better not to plant winter garlic in a garden where the following crops grew in summer:

• potatoes
• beets
• carrots
• radish
• onions.

A place where ordinary garlic grew in warm weather is also a bad choice.

But favorable "predecessors" for garlic are:

• beans
• peppers
• peas
• zucchini
• cucumbers;
• wheat;
• pumpkins.
