"In the northern, at night and in the western and central regions, there will be light wet snow (moderate at night in the far north), in the eastern regions precipitation will be mainly in the form of rain (heavy during the day). In the rest of the country, there will be no significant precipitation," the report said.

According to weather forecasters, except for the south and east, there will be ice on the roads in some places. The wind will be mostly northwest, 7-12 m/s, gusts of 15-20 m/s at night and in the morning in Ukraine, except for the eastern part.

"At night, the temperature in the western, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions will be 0-5° Celsius, in the rest of the country from 3° Celsius to 2° Celsius, in Donetsk and Luhansk regions 1-6° Celsius. During the day, 0-5° C, in Transcarpathia and in the southeastern part of Ukraine 3-8° C. In the Carpathians, at night 7-12° below zero, during the day 2-7° below zero," the Ukrhydrometeorological Center reports.

According to weather forecasters, dangerous meteorological phenomena are expected in the Kyiv region on March 29.

"Cloudy weather. Moderate snow at night, light sleet during the day. There will be ice on the roads in some places. Northwest wind, 7-12 m/s," the report says.

The temperature in the region will be 0-5° below zero at night and 0-5° above zero during the day.

In Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, 1-3° below zero is expected, and 0-2° above zero during the day. Wind gusts of 15-20 m/s are also forecast for March 29 at night and in the morning.

"Such weather conditions can lead to complications in the work of the energy and utilities sectors and disruption of traffic on certain sections of roads and streets," experts warn.
