"Ukrainians dream of a president like Putin": the Russian Foreign Ministry has issued another portion of nonsense. Video

According to Zakharova, presidents of Ukraine are not elected by the people

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Ukrainians allegedly want Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin to be their president. She also admitted that Ukrainian citizens hate the Russian leader.

The video was posted on social media. According to Zakharova, Ukrainian presidents are allegedly not elected by the people, but appointed by the West.

"The tragedy of the Ukrainian people is that they really want to have a president like Putin. But they always have those whom the West gives them. It's Freud, you know? I think Freud would explain what's happening to Ukraine in many ways - very quickly and in very typical terms," the diplomat said.

According to Zakharova, Ukrainians "outwardly hate Putin" and are "very aggressive" towards the Russian president "precisely because they would like Putin to be their president".

It is noteworthy that, having said this, the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson laughed herself.

"This is what they need: someone who is open, decisive, who knows that he is not speaking on, as you say, 'a piece of paper sent to him from Washington', but who speaks because he knows what he is talking about, he breathes it, he feels it," Zakharova concluded, praising the Russian dictator.

Earlier, Zakharova said that the vast majority of the international community "is frankly tired of the fierce calls and attempts by Western countries to 'cancel' Russian sport". According to the diplomat, the absence of Russian athletes allegedly has a detrimental effect on the spectacle of competitions, their commercial component and reputation.
