Two tankers collided in Russia, one of them was carrying more than 800 tons of gasoline. Video

Two tankers collided on the Lena River in the Irkutsk region of the Russian terrorist country. As a result of the accident one of the tanks, carrying 138 tons of fuel, was damaged.
According to the head of the Russian Emergency Situations Department of the Irkutsk region, the tankers "Yerofey Khabarov" and "TR-901" collided. This was stated in Telegram by the Governor of the Irkutsk region Igor Kobzev (to see the video, scroll to the end of the page).
The official stated that the tanker Yerofey Khabarov was carrying 832 tons of gasoline. As a result of the collision one of the tanks was damaged - it contained 138 tons of fuel.
After the collision the gasoline poured into the river water area, and the crew, according to the local governor, allegedly promptly began pumping the gasoline into the undamaged tank. The official also stated that they tried to prevent the spread of the fuel in the water area with a boom fence around the tanker.
After the tanker collision, an emergency situation was declared. However, the governor complained that the situation was complicated by the fact that the river is navigable and there are settlements downstream.
The governor, in the usual manner of Russian officials, stated that "the situation is under control," and at the same time issued a statement that the local authorities are working to prevent the withdrawal of water from the river.
At the same time, the Russian mass media complain that between 60 and 90 tons of fuel have already poured into the river. At the same time, Russian officials rely on the fact that gasoline is highly volatile and hope that more than 90% of the spilled fuel will evaporate and not reach the borders of the Republic of Yakutia.
