Two Russian servicemen who raped women and children during the occupation of Kyiv region will be tried in Ukraine. In total, 12 people suffered from the actions of war criminals.
This was reported by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine. The perpetrators face long prison terms (scroll to the bottom of the page to watch the video).
"Threatened with weapons and raped pregnant women and children: National Police investigators have sent the case of two Russian military to court. These are 29-year-old and 32-year-old senior snipers of the rifle company of the 15th separate Guards motorized rifle brigade of the 2nd Guards Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District from Samara, who committed sexual violence against twelve local residents during the occupation of Kyiv region," the NPU said.
According to the investigation, the criminals purposefully identified houses where young women lived during passport checks. The occupants then broke into their homes and sexually assaulted them at gunpoint.
The occupiers did not care about their age or condition. Among the victims of their actions were a pregnant woman, a five-year-old child and two other minor girls born in 2004 and 2007. In total, 12 people suffered from the criminal actions of the occupiers.
Prosecutors have completed the investigation into the crimes of the occupiers.

The investigation into sexual violence and ill-treatment of civilians has been completed, and the indictment has been sent to court.
According to the press service, since February 24, 2022, the Office of the Prosecutor General has recorded 235 cases of conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV). The actions of the Russian military affected 150 women and 85 men. 13 victims were minors, including 12 girls and 1 boy (a type of sexual violence not related to rape).
CRSV crimes were recorded in all nine regions where the occupation forces were present. Most of them were registered in Kherson (72), Donetsk (55), Kyiv (52) and Kharkiv (21) regions.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, a captured occupier told how the Akhmat militants, the army of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, raped Ukrainian girls. They committed these atrocious crimes in Tokmak and Molochansk, Zaporizhzhia region.
