Top life hacks for cleaning the bathroom

Excessive humidity leads to the growth of fungal spores and mould in the bathroom. Some interior items, such as rugs, can become real breeding grounds for bacteria. Regular cleaning is the key to a shiny and clean room.

In addition to the standard life hacks, such as making homemade cleaning solutions based on soda and vinegar, quite unexpected tips are gaining popularity online. In its video, the Instagram account Satisfying Cleaning shared useful tips from Anna Louisa (@anna_louisa_at_home).

Hard tap water leaves white streaks on the faucets, which eventually turn into a persistent limescale. Regular baby oil will help polish the taps. Rub it on the faucets that have been previously cleaned of dirt and dust, and the surfaces will shine.

One of the causes of mould in the bathroom is constant condensation caused by temperature changes. To prevent condensation, experts recommend using shaving foam. Shake the foam, apply it to the mirror and wipe off the residue with a microfibre cloth. The mirror will be perfectly clean.

And finally, an interesting life hack to help get rid of stubborn yellow plaque in the toilet. The Internet suggests trying denture cleaning tablets. Two tablets should be dissolved in water and rubbed thoroughly into the surface using a brush.

By the way, ordinary bleach is often used to clean the toilet, but it does not always cope with the problem. Acid-based products will be more effective: citric acid or vinegar. What other products will wash away the most stubborn stains - read the article.
