Since the trends for comfort, sporty style and simplicity became the engine of fashion, leggings have taken root in the wardrobe of fashionistas. Comfortable leggings were worn not only to the gym and for jogging, but also styled in everyday looks. Since then, leggings made of different materials, with patterns and updated cuts have been coming into fashion from time to time, but some of them are hopelessly outdated.

The editors of the Polish website Fit and Fashion named the most unsuccessful model of 2023. It not only looks outdated, but also reveals a lack of fashion awareness (to see the photo, scroll to the bottom of the page).

So, the least stylish in the new season will be leggings made of shiny lycra. This sports-fashion item was once at the height of fashion, but now it looks cheap. It's better to give up on such leggings in favour of eco-leather, unless you're going to be doing sports.

Leggings styled like jeans have also become an anti-trend. They never look like high-quality denim, and therefore give off a bad taste.

There are a few more details to consider when choosing the right model.

- Leggings should reach the ankles. Shortened versions will visually make your legs look smaller and thicker.

- The material should be dense. Underwear should not be visible from under the leggings.

- Leggings and heels are a dangerous combination that should be avoided.

- Black and cotton fabric look the most stylish in everyday life.

- Leggings in combination with a skirt or dress already look outdated.

- In the gym, you can give yourself freedom and work out in bright models with any patterns.
