Putin issues statement on 17 July attack on Crimean bridge

On Monday evening, 17 July, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting on the situation on the Crimean bridge. The Russian dictator made a statement broadcast by Russian media.

In his speech, Putin threatened a response to the attack on the Crimean bridge and said that the Russian Defence Ministry was already preparing a "corresponding proposal".

The Russian dictator called the explosion "another terrorist act of the Kyiv regime" and a "senseless crime" from a military point of view. At the same time, he issued another portion of lies, stating that the bridge was not used for military transport.

"There will be a response from Russia, of course. The Ministry of Defence is preparing appropriate proposals," Putin said.

As a reminder, on the morning of 17 July, explosions occurred in the temporarily occupied Crimea. One of the spans of the Crimean Bridge collapsed. The occupiers stopped road and rail traffic, and the ferry crossing was also closed. The invaders advised Russians to go to the peninsula through the occupied territories on the mainland of Ukraine.

According to OBOZREVATEL's intelligence sources, the attack on the Crimean bridge was a special operation by the SBU and the Navy. The bridge was attacked using surface drones.

Meanwhile, the SBU officially commented on the explosions on the Crimean Bridge. They stated that this facility is a legitimate military target for Ukraine, as it is used by the occupiers to supply their units in the occupied territories of our country and to transfer equipment and troops. In addition, the SBU promised to disclose the details of the organisation of the "pop" after the victory.

Instead, Russians are hysterical over the "pop" on the Crimean bridge. Ordinary Russians are demanding a "tough response" and devastating strikes against Ukraine.

Russia's top propagandists did not lag behind the "grassroots people". For example, Margarita Simonyan dreamed of a strike on Tower Bridge, and her colleague Olga Skabeeva recalled Dmitry Medvedev's promise of "Armageddon" after the attacks on the occupied Ukrainian peninsula.
