"The Kremlin does not give inquiries": Peskov refuses to comment on Kadyrov's condition
The Kremlin refused to comment on the health of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. They explained this by saying that the Russian presidential administration "can hardly give" relevant information.
The rumors circulating online about the Chechen leader were commented on by the Russian dictator's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov. He was asked a question about Kadyrov by the Russian media on September 18 during a press conference.
Peskov gave an evasive answer, but at the same time called the sources' information "speculation"
"We do not have any information regarding speculations about Ramzan Kadyrov's health. In any case, the presidential administration is unlikely to issue health certificates. There is nothing to add," said the representative of the Russian president.
To recap: The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that Kadyrov's health condition had deteriorated significantly. He was allegedly in a coma for several days.
According to our publication, the head of Chechnya could have undergone a kidney transplant, but the organ did not take root. According to some reports, Vladimir Putin's henchman is in critical condition in a clinic in Moscow.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported:
- The Institute for the Study of War believes that the continued concern about Kadyrov's condition in the information space indicates Putin's dependence on Kadyrov to maintain stability in Chechnya.
- The media reported that on September 17, unusual activity was observed near the Central Clinical Hospital in Moscow, where the Chechen leader could have been hospitalized.
