The Defense Ministry bought winter clothes for the AFU for 1.3 billion hryvnias: the media found an interesting detail

From July to August of this year, several agreements of the Ministry of Defense were signed on the purchase of winter clothing for servicemen for the amount of 1.28 billion hryvnias. The Ministry of defense ordered uniforms for at least 235 thousand soldiers.

This is reported by "Nashi Groshi", referring to data in the system "Prozorro". Part of the tenders had to be canceled due to the rejection by the Ministry of all proposals of participants.

"Trousers were ordered at prices ranging from 2,046 to 2,598 hryvnia per piece (56-71 dollars at the exchange rate of the National Bank), jackets - at 2,823-3,274 hryvnia (77-90 dollars at the exchange rate of the National Bank)," the report said.

So, ten Ukrainian companies were chosen to fulfill these contracts. It is noteworthy that most of them have already had experience of cooperation with the Ministry of Defense as suppliers.

The publication notes that one company managed to significantly increase its tender success.

"We are talking about Nika-text plus LLC". Before the invasion, this firm won tenders for less than UAH 10 million. And now it immediately received an order for 222 million hryvnias. Kyiv-based Nika-Text Plus belongs to Bohdana Sidorenko from Odessa. According to the Clarity-project analytical database, the firm's contact person was Maria Gadach," Nashi Groshi reported.

According to the data from the system "Youcontrol", registered information, in the registers there is an entry about Maria Alekseevna Gadach.

It can also be learned from the source that this name corresponds to the former directors of "Publishing House "Mega Press" LLC - Yuri Ganzha, Oleg Svirko and Evgeny Sklyar.

Oleg Svirko was head of the tender committee of the Ministry of Defense in 2015. Maria Gadach at that time worked in the Department of Procurement of the Ministry of Defense, the publication explains.
