'Straight vibe gone bad': Russian blogger put in her place in Maldives
Russian blogger Valentina Karnaukhova (known as Valya Karnaval) complained about "Russophobia". The woman was outraged that she paid huge money for a vacation in the Maldives, but faced contempt.
About her "problem" the Russian woman ranted in a blog on YouTube. She said nothing about the reason why many foreigners have a negative attitude towards Russia (to watch the video, scroll to the end of the page).
Karnauhova, 21, said one of the waiters approached her at the restaurant and said she was "very beautiful."
"I say, 'Thank you very much.' To which I get a question in English: 'Where are you from?' I say, "Russia." He looked at me like he wanted to take his words back and said: "I don't like Russia". I said, "Why?" He was like, "Europe is Europe, Russia is Russia. I don't like Russia," the blogger told.
Valya Karnaval admitted that this is not the first time, such situations have happened to her "repeatedly".
"When you come on vacation on vacation, where you pay fabulous money, and the staff can "insult" your homeland, your home... I think it's strange," the Russian woman lamented.
She believes that Russia's opponents should "adhere to some minimal ethics" and "keep their opinions to themselves."
"My vibe has gone straight to hell, to be honest. I want to go back to the last island, they didn't say such things there," the blogger whined.
As previously wrote OBOZREVATEL, in Feodosia in the temporarily occupied Crimea appeared a special offer for vacationers - a paid opportunity to lie in the shade. Russians who came to the resort, outraged that a vacation in Turkey would have cost them cheaper.
