Sorochynsky Fair will be held in another city for the first time in its history. The largest in Ukraine and the most famous fair and exhibition event outside its borders will be held in Lviv this year.

This was announced on the official page of Sorochynskiy Fair in Facebook. It will be held from August 24 to 27 (to see the photo, scroll to the end of the page).

The event will be dedicated to the Independence Day of Ukraine and will be held under the slogan "East and West together!"

"Products of craftsmen of folk art, goods of Ukrainian companies, products of craft producers, dishes of Ukrainian cuisine are waiting for you. Bright cultural and artistic program, raffles", the post says.

Sorochynsky Fair will be held with the support of the Lviv RMA and the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Poltava RMA at 17 Kopernika Street, Palace of Arts. Working hours: 10.00 - 19.00.

It should be noted that earlier the cultural event was traditionally held in the penultimate week of August on the fair area of 16.2 hectares in the open air in the center of the village of Velyki Sorochintsi, Myrhorod district, Poltava region.

In 2020, the Sorochinsky Fair was canceled for the first time in history. The reason was the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022 it did not take place because of the full-scale war that Russia unleashed on the territory of Ukraine.
