Russia calls the IOC's demands a "concentration camp without a choice" and claims humiliation

Rodnina criticised IOC

Russian propagandists of the Match TV channel were outraged by the criteria for the admission of athletes from the aggressor country to international competitions. In an interview with Olympic champion and State Duma deputy Irina Rodnina, the so-called journalists called the conditions set by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) enslaving.

"They are bondage, as if people were forced into a concentration camp without the right to choose their future... Unfortunately, traditional values are fading into the background," said propagandist Sergei Astakhov.

In response, Rodnina spoke about the humiliation of Russian athletes and issued a whole set of stamps. "When you are humiliated, then, probably, any person and athlete manifests and develops a sense of self-esteem and a certain egoism. They're already scared - sanctions don't work, and they don't get along with athletes. They don't know the history, because they are failing students. They would also say that we should wear white or grey clothes. Maybe they want to put a Jewish star on us?" - said the former figure skater.

Recall that the IOC recommended that international federations suspend Russian athletes involved in the Russian army and law enforcement agencies, as well as team sports. In response, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova blamed all of Russia's crimes on the West. And Tatyana Navka, a traitor to Ukraine and Dmitry Peskov's wife, called the IOC's decision the West's desire to wipe Russia off the map.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, the German Foreign Ministry called the IOC's new decision to conditionally allow Russians to participate in international competitions a slap in the face to the Ukrainian people.
