Prosecutor's Office launches pre-trial investigation

Russian occupation forces continue to shell the Kherson region. On Thursday, April 13, Russian troops attacked a school in Zmiyivka with guided aerial bombs.

As a result, one person was killed and another wounded. This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

"Today, two people were killed and two were injured in the Kherson region as a result of shelling," he said.

Prokudin specified that among the dead in Zmiyivka was a 62-year-old headmaster who was in the school where the occupiers hit, and a 55-year-old guard of the educational institution was wounded.

Putin's army also shelled the village of Nikolske in the Dariivka community, injuring a 52-year-old man. He was hospitalised in a moderate condition in Kherson.

In addition, in the morning, the invaders shelled a park in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson. A 45-year-old man died as a result of this attack.

The prosecutor's office has launched a pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings over violations of the laws and customs of war (Article 438 (1) and (2) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Recall that the Russian occupation army committed another war crime in the Kherson region. Terrorists shelled the city of Stanislav with artillery - a shell hit a residential building, broke the roof and detonated.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, the war criminals of the aggressor country Russia attacked the Kherson region again. The occupiers launched a UAV strike on the de-occupied Zmiyivka in the Beryslav district. Four people were injured in the incident.

Russian troops continue to terrorise Ukrainians in de-occupied Kherson and settlements on the right bank of the region. As a result of artillery shelling of the regional centre on April 1, the invaders hit a private house and killed a man on the street.
