"Never in the history of our planet": the Kyiv City Military Administration showed how many missiles and drones Russia launched at Kyiv in May

In May 2023, over 250 enemy aircraft were destroyed by air defence forces in the skies over Kyiv. In particular, these included 7 Kinzhal aerial ballistic missiles and 169 UAVs.

This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City Military Administration. Ukrainian defenders are repelling enemy attacks on the capital.

"Never in the history of our planet. Not a single city, not a single country... has ever been subjected to such powerful air attacks by numerous hypersonic hypersonic aeroballistic, ballistic, cruise missiles and modern military UAVs. As much as Kyiv did in May. Kyiv held out. We held out," the statement said.

Thus, according to the CAGA, in the sky over Kyiv, the air defence forces approximately destroyed:

• 7 Kinzhal ballistic missiles;
• 13 Iskander ballistic missiles;
• 65 cruise missiles: X-101, X-555, "Kalibr";
• 169 UAVS.

As a reminder, after the tragedy on the night of June 1 in Kyiv's Desnianskyi district, when people were not allowed into a shelter and three of them died, the city authorities decided to inspect all shelters in the city.
