Ukrainian border guards demonstrated another accurate attack on the enemy near Bakhmut. As a result, the defenders neutralised a group of occupants.
The relevant video was released by the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on March 20. "Border guards near Bakhmut neutralised Russian mercenaries with several shells," the publication says (scroll down to the end to watch the video).

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, our soldiers eliminated 700 occupants. Also, 16 armoured vehicles, 9 artillery systems and 5 enemy tanks were destroyed.

- Bakhmut remains the epicentre of hostilities. The enemy is also advancing at the Liman, Avdiivka, Maryinka and Shakhtarsk directions. The day before, the defenders repelled 69 enemy attacks.
- The occupants are also trying to encircle Avdiivka. Over the past three weeks, the enemy has made "creeping" progress there.
- The Zaporizhzhia front is coming to life, and the formation of the future battlefield is beginning there, reminiscent of the operation to liberate the right bank of the Kherson region, said military expert Serhiy Zgurets.
- The Joint Forces Commander Serhiy Nayev gave a forecast of the Ukrainian army's counter-offensive. According to him, the Ukrainian army is seeking to exhaust the enemy and inflict maximum losses.
