The threat of an attack of the "Wagnerites" on Kyiv from the territory of Belarus, where they are located, exists. However, it will depend on the availability of forces and means and decision-making by the political top brass of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation.

This opinion was expressed by the commander of the United Forces of the AFU, Lieutenant General Serhiy Naev, reports RBC-Ukraine. The Ukrainian military is doing everything necessary to fight back against the enemy if necessary.

"No one has ever rejected a repeated offensive (with the participation of the "Wagnerites". - Ed.) on Kyiv. We understand that hostile intentions depend only on the decisions of the highest political leadership of the Russian Federation. Therefore, given the above, such a possibility exists, but as of now it is not backed up by forces and means. But this does not mean that it cannot happen in the future," Naev noted.

He added that Ukrainian intelligence is monitoring the enemy, and its actions will depend on the availability of forces and means and decision-making by the Russian political top brass. The armed forces of Ukraine are doing everything necessary to fight back the occupiers.

"Our intelligence constantly monitors the situation and timely brings information to the leadership of the AFU and the relevant commanders of the groups. Given the above, we are doing everything to increase our ability to prevent successful hostile actions in the Kyiv direction," Naev emphasized.

As reported OBOZREVATEL, around Kyiv created the most powerful air defense system. It consists, in particular, of Patriot, Nasams and IRIS-T SAMs.
