This is the idea behind the Lip Gloss technique, which has been gaining momentum since the end of 2022 and promises to become one of the most popular trends in 2023.

The name, which translates as "lip gloss," leads us to the main idea of this manicure - to make your nails as shiny as possible. Do not confuse it with shimmer, rhinestones, and other sequins. How to achieve an ultra-shiny effect on nails?

First, use a protective base by applying a thin layer. This will create a barrier between the polish and the nail plate. Then apply two coats of nail polish.

The colour can be whatever your heart desires: pink, brown, milky, or a more obvious shade, such as black or burgundy. It's up to you, but keep in mind that a glossy manicure usually looks best with a palette that is close to your natural skin tone.

After applying these two coats, it's time for the highlight of the programme - the top coat. To achieve the desired result - super-shiny, wet lips - it is important to use a product that is thicker than medium and, above all, very shiny.

If the effect doesn't seem shiny enough, you can apply a little glitter powder with a brush before applying the top coat again.
