Kursk region of Russia complains about drone attack: seven settlements left without electricity
The Kursk region of the Russian Federation reported a "drone attack" that left seven settlements without power. Local authorities complained that a Ukrainian UAV had allegedly dropped a bomb on an electrical substation in the village of Snagist, Korenovsky district.
The governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoyt, said that none of the residents were injured. "Emergency crews will start restoring power supply as soon as the situation allows," he promised.
At the same time, the aggressor country's Defense Ministry said that on the night of September 26, the Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly conducted five UAV attacks on the Kursk region.
Shoigu claims that two drones were "successfully destroyed" around 10:30 p.m., and two more around 11:00 p.m. Later in the morning, they reported another drone that was allegedly shot down by air defense.

In addition, on the evening of September 25, Russia reported a drone attack on the Belgorod region. Allegedly, seven airplane-type drones were shot down in the sky over the Grayvoronsky urban district.
"Operational services are clarifying information about the consequences on the ground. We will continue our rounds in the daylight hours," said Vyacheslav Gladkov, the regional governor, the day before.
