K-pop star Moonbin dies at the age of 25: investigators announce possible causes
K-pop star Moonbin was found dead in his home in Seoul, South Korea. The body of the singer, as well as an actor, model and dancer, was discovered by his manager. The performer was only 25 years old.
Moonbin became famous in his native country and far beyond its borders as a member of the boy band Astro. The probable cause of his death was reported by the Daily Mail.
The police assume that the star committed suicide. However, no suicide note was found in the deceased's house. However, people from the singer's environment also suggest that he committed suicide.
Law enforcement officers are investigating all the circumstances and note that the exact cause of death will be determined after an autopsy.
On the day of his death, Moonbin was supposed to come to a rehearsal, but did not. That is why the artist's manager went to his home, where he found him dead.
The singer's funeral will reportedly take place on April 22 in a narrow circle of his family, colleagues and close friends.
Fantagio, the label with which Moonbin collaborated, said that the performer "unexpectedly left our world and became a star in the sky". Astro was supposed to tour in May, but had to be cancelled. The last concert with the late singer took place in Bangkok on April 8.
