The English football club Chelsea has announced that Graham Potter, the team's coach, has resigned from his position. Bruno Saltor has been appointed interim head coach.

"On behalf of everyone at the club, we would like to thank Graham for his contribution to Chelsea. We have the utmost respect for Graham as a coach and as a person. He has always behaved with professionalism and integrity and we are all disappointed with this outcome," Chelsea said on its website.

The Londoners' management promises to support Bruno and the team together with the fans.

"We will focus on the remaining part of the season. We have 10 Premier League games left and the Champions League quarter-finals. We will do our best in each of these games to finish the season on a high level," he said in a statement.

Potter joined Chelsea from Brighton in September 2022. The contract provided for a 5-year cooperation. Under his leadership, the team played 31 matches: 12 wins / 11 defeats / 8 draws.

Chelsea is 11th in the Premier League with 38 points from 28 games. The Londoners have made it to the quarter-finals of the Champions League, where they will play a match against Real Madrid on April 12.
