Marvel's new series showed explosions in Moscow

Marvel Studios released the second trailer of its new mini-series "Secret Invasion," where it showed footage of explosions in the center of Moscow. Ukrainians joked that Marvel had spoiled real events against the backdrop of an expected counteroffensive by the AFU.

It's worth recalling that there were rumors in 2022 that the studio would change locations due to a full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, but apparently the fragments with the burning Russian capital decided to leave. The trailer is available on YouTube (to see the photo, scroll to the end of the page).

Plot and release date

The series will tell the story of Nick Fury, played by Sam Jackson, fighting an invading alien race of skrulls on Earth. "Secret Invasion" will consist of six episodes that will air on Disney+

It will premiere on June 21, 2023.

Remake

In 2022, foreign media reported, citing insiders, that Marvel Studios had decided to rewrite some parts of the film due to the fact that the main action takes place in Russia. It was rumored that this was due to the war in Ukraine. The process was to take another 4 months, so the premiere was postponed.

Ukrainian reactions and "spoilers"

The second trailer for The Secret Invasion, released three days ago, did show footage from Moscow. However, only those related to the explosions on Red Square.

TikTok joked Marvel showed a spoiler of the counterattack of the AFU, which the whole world expects already this spring.

"The movie is called 'Kyiv in 3 Days,'" "I really like spoilers like this," "Just the future was screened," "They could have just waited. They wouldn't have wasted on special effects", "Is this a spoiler?" "Made more than NATO and the UN," the Ukrainians wrote.

Previously OBOZREVATEL wrote that in the series "Happy Together" the Bukins went to rest on the Azov Sea in a fictional settlement called Staraya Chushka, which, as shown on the map on the screen, was territorially located in the area of Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. However, the characters proudly said it was the Russian Federation.
