Ideal for Russians: Ukrainians staged a flash mob under the new Balenciaga dress for 6 thousand euros
Ukrainians staged a flash mob under a post by the Spanish brand Balenciaga presenting a €6,000 dress that resembles a garbage bag. They called the novelty a "uniform" for the liquidated Russian occupiers and "the perfect outfit for Russians."
In this way, netizens reminded that the Russian army is suffering huge losses in the war waged against Ukraine, and more than 346,000 Russian soldiers have already returned home wearing black bags. Comments were left under the fashion house's post on Instagram.
Eventually, the page administrators restricted comments on the post. However, it is not clear what exactly was the reason for this step, as in addition to Ukrainians' comments about "packages for the occupiers," users pointed to the bad taste of the dress designers.
"The hit of the season in Russia since 2014!", "Package for an orc?", "Packages for Russian orcs", "The best holiday gift for orcs", "Shoigu or Gerasimov can be shoved into such a bag", "Cool outfit for m*skals", "Ideal for Russians", "'Rashist uniform', "I will order for relatives from the 'great state'," "Russian Federation, get ready to go! ", "The only thing Russians should wear", "Is the head bag a separate accessory? I just want to pack a set", "Can i order 300,000 pieces?", "Package for Putin", "New dress model: "Cargo 200," they wrote in the comments.
Despite the fact that the price of the scandalous dress is €6 thousand, as of the evening of December 17, there is one copy left on the Balenciaga website for ordering, which is promised to be fulfilled by September 2024.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, the Spanish retail chain ZARA got into a loud scandal. The brand launched a controversial advertising campaign in which its customers saw a dismissive attitude towards Palestinians. Editors were forced to remove the scandalous images, and activists broke into some stores.
