Of these options, modern hotels often prefer ranfors. It is durable, smooth and soft at the same time. While calico is perhaps the most common option for home bedding. It is valued for its wear resistance and durability. At the same time, after washing and even ironing, it becomes a bit hard to the touch.
It can be softened with the help of factory conditioners. However, they have significant drawbacks: they do not rinse well and degrade the quality of the fabric over time. Baking soda
Ordinary baking soda softens hard tap water and at the same time enhances the effect of detergent. Put half a cup of baking soda in the drum before starting the wash and run a normal cycle.
Vinegar
This liquid works as a safe fabric softener, deodorizing fabrics. However, you should use white or distilled vinegar to avoid leaving unnecessary stains. Pour the vinegar into the air conditioner compartment. You will need 125 ml of liquid with a concentration of 9%.
Flavored air conditioner
Baking soda and vinegar can be used to make a homemade fabric softener, and you can add your favorite essential oil to it for aroma. To do this, take a glass of baking soda and mix it with a glass of water to make a paste. Pour 6 cups of white vinegar into it, then let the substances interact and add another 6 cups of vinegar. Add 20-25 drops of essential oil to this liquid. In this case, mix everything very well so that the oil does not leave stains. The resulting product can be stored in an airtight container and used together with the factory air conditioner.
An important note: baking soda, vinegar, and their compounds should not be used together with oxygen and chlorine bleach. This can severely damage the fabric.
