How to clean kitchen tiles

Ceramic tiles are durable, reliable and of high quality. It would seem that there should be no problems with the sink. However, kitchen surfaces are often covered with a layer of grease from cooking.

A greasy film can be a nuisance. Not all products are effective at removing sticky surfaces. Read the OBOZREVATEL article on how to rub the tiles in the kitchen to avoid a greasy film.

Dishwashing detergent, laundry soap, or cleaning sprays can only cope with the task in the short term. After a day or two, grease settles on the surface again - and the procedure has to be repeated.

Cleaning experts offer a product that guarantees a long-lasting effect. It's simple: use baking soda.

Baking soda has disinfectant and cleaning properties. The soda solution also acts as an effective odour neutraliser. The abrasive particles will help to restore the cleanliness of the entire surface - both the tiles and the grout.

Experts usually recommend diluting baking soda with water to form a paste-like mixture. Use a sponge or toothbrush to apply to the surface, clean thoroughly and rinse with water.

For a glossy effect, replace the water with sunflower or olive oil. This life hack will help to create a kind of protective layer to which grease will stick less in the future. It's a paradox: grease is the best way to remove grease. Mix baking soda and oil until a thick consistency is formed. Then apply it to the surface, leave it on for 30 minutes and wipe it off with a sponge and detergent.
