How to remove rust stains with natural remedies: three tips

The recipe is incredibly simple. First, you should sprinkle salt on the rust. Then cut a tomato in half and wipe the dirty area with one half. Do not rush to wash off - the remedy should be given time to work. After 7-10 minutes, wipe the spot with a soft cloth.
Why is tomato so effective for rust removal? It's very simple - tomatoes contain citric acid. Lifehack with tomato is most suitable for ceramic surfaces.
Lifehack with lemon
As is already clear, citric acid will quickly and effectively get rid of rust.
Experts advise squeezing the juice of one lemon into a small container. Also add a little salt and stir thoroughly. This mixture needs a little - a quarter of a teaspoon should be poured on the rusty spot and wait at least 10 minutes.
After that, you can clean the dirty spot with an old toothbrush. But be careful - the bristles should be soft.
Vinegar lifehack
This is the easiest easy DIY trick, you don't need any salt or making the mixture. Simply pour 3 tablespoons of vinegar over the rusty stains. The acidity will remove even outdated marks. After waiting 5 minutes, wash the dirty spot with a rag. This procedure can be repeated several times.
