However, this durable material can become covered with dust and dirt, which will make it look yellow and distort the light transmission. And in addition, it will spoil the look of the interior.

You can quickly restore the shade or chandelier to its cleanliness and shine with the help of one product that is available in every kitchen. As OBOZ.UA found out, white vinegar, a universal cleaning agent that has many practical applications in and around the house, will help you clean the lamp without any difficulty.

White vinegar is a mixture of water and acetic acid. It is its high acidity that makes it easy to dissolve various types of dirt and makes it so effective and easy to use as it does not need to be specially prepared for use. However, it can be diluted with water in equal proportions to make sure it is safe for any material.

This is the solution you need to use to clean the luminaire. You also need to take a microfiber cloth as it will effectively clean the glass and will not leave fine lint on it.

First, remove all the elements that can be detached from the lamp or chandelier and put them on a towel to prevent chips and damage. Prepare a cleaning solution for them by filling a large enough container with a mixture of water and vinegar in a 1:1 ratio. Place the yellowed glass in this mixture and let it soak for 30 minutes to allow the dirt to dissolve.

After such a bath, start taking out the elements one by one and wiping them with microfiber. The material will polish the glass surface and make it shiny. Finally, wipe all the items dry and the work can be considered complete.
