You probably dreamed of a product that would repel dust from furniture once and for all at least once. As rational people, we understand that this is not possible. However, cleaning experts say that the time between dusting can be extended. Moreover, it's not as difficult as it sounds.

The recipe for such a tool was shared by TikTok blogger Carolina McCauley. She showed a simple recipe for a homemade spray that will not only effectively remove dust but also slow down its settling, at the same time destroying dust mites that live in it. To make the product, you need only four simple ingredients:

• 0.5 teaspoon of olive oil;
• 1 teaspoon of white vinegar;
• 0.5 cups of water;
• 2 drops of dishwashing liquid.

All ingredients should be thoroughly mixed and poured into a spray bottle. Water and soap will help to physically remove dust from surfaces, oil will protect them from rapid re-settlement of dirt, while vinegar will kill dust mites.

If you also want to mask the smell of vinegar and make the spray fragrant, you can add 10 drops of any essential oil to your taste. Carolina chose lemon oil, a win-win when it comes to cleaning products as it leaves behind a fresh scent.

According to the blogger, you can use this spray once a week. You won't be bothered by dust between cleanings. Users who have already tried the recipe wrote that the product works effectively, repelling dust and caring for surfaces.
