How to easily clean a dirty oven: an unusual way
If you cook, you know how dirty your oven can get after frequent use. Cleaning it is not the most pleasant task, and a regular brush or sponge will not help you get rid of all the dirt.
The cleanliness of the oven directly affects the quality of cooking and your health, but some places can be incredibly difficult to clean. That's why a housewife shared on Instagram a life hack with toothbrushes that will help you easily get rid of dirt in the most inaccessible places.
If you don't have a stock of toothbrushes at home, it's time to go to the store and buy two. As strange as it may sound, they will help you clean the dirtiest places in your oven.
How to make a universal oven brush
To make your own universal cleaning tool, you'll need two stiff-bristled toothbrushes and a strong rubber band or plastic ties.
Place the bristles opposite each other and secure them. Make sure that they are very tight and that they are positioned evenly.
Next, use the tool to clean the metal grime from the oven. This can be a bit tedious, but it's worth the effort because you'll be amazed at the results.
Then, you can detach the brushes from each other and use them separately. Toothbrushes are a great tool for removing dirt and grime from hard-to-reach places. Their stiff bristles can easily remove baked-on grease, and their small size allows them to reach nooks and crannies where a sponge can't.
Oven cleaner
There are many chemical oven cleaners available, but many of them contain harmful chemicals that may not rinse off completely and can be dangerous to your health.
Instead, use baking soda and vinegar. Mix three parts water to one part vinegar in a spray bottle. Next, sprinkle the baking soda on the stained areas in the oven and spray the vinegar solution on it. After the chemical reaction takes place, use a toothbrush to scrub off the softened dirt, and then wipe it all off with a damp kitchen cloth or sponge.
