How to drive away cockroaches with one product from the fridge: what works best to repel insects

Cockroaches are not only an annoyance in the house, but also a potential danger. They carry pathogens of severe infectious diseases and, moving through sewer pipes, bring harmful bacteria into the house. Salmonellosis, dysentery, meningitis, dermatitis, and allergic reactions are the most common diseases that cockroaches can bring with them.
You need to fight pests without wasting time. The Sante Plus publication has shared an interesting life hack on how to drive away cockroaches with just one product.
Cucumber against cockroaches
According to experts, cucumber will repel cockroaches. After cutting it into several pieces and placing it in a blender, dilute the mixture with water to make cucumber juice.
Filter the juice from the pulp and pour it into a container for cleaning the floor. By washing the floor with cucumber juice, you will get rid of cockroaches in your home for a long time.
Experts explain the life hack by saying that cockroaches hate the smell of cucumbers. You can simply cut the cucumber into slices and place them in the corners of the room and on the shelves.
Life hack with mint and lavender
Mint or lavender scents also repel pests. Take 1/4 cup of white vinegar, 100 ml of mint or lavender flavouring, and 300 ml of water.
It is better to mix the ingredients in a spray bottle. Spray the preparation on the places where you have seen cockroaches.
Life hack with baking soda and powdered sugar
Mix a glass of baking soda with a glass of icing sugar. Pour the mixture into small cups and place them against the walls. This mixture dehydrates the cockroach and kills it.
White vinegar and boric acid
The smell of vinegar can also help get rid of cockroaches. Experts advise wiping walls, floors, and furniture with this natural ingredient for several days.
Alternatively, you can mix one tablespoon of boric acid with one teaspoon of sweetened condensed milk. Put the paste in places where cockroaches congregate.
What places attract cockroaches
Cockroaches are one of the most common pests in homes. They are incredibly resilient and difficult to get rid of once they have infested a home.
Cockroaches need water to survive, so they are attracted to damp places such as bathrooms, kitchens and leaky pipes. They often hide in cracks and crevices in walls, floors and cupboards.
The pests are attracted to food scraps and crumbs, as well as pieces of fat and sugar.
Darkness provides the necessary security for cockroaches and enables them to search for food and water continuously. In addition, cockroaches are also attracted to heat sources. Cockroaches are cold-blooded animals and depend on external heat sources to regulate their body temperature.
